Concept

Lamatilde, quattrolinee and 70magenta coordinate this annual workshop for the Visual Design and Communication program at the Polytechnic University of Turin, engaging students from classes in Communication Design, Graphics, and Production Systems for Graphic Design. The workshop focuses on teaching a design method used to define communication strategies, with special emphasis on crucial elements of visual identity and production for both physical and digital outputs.

Development

The workshop highlights a different theme each year, always revolving around the design of a communication strategy for a hypothetical client. The themes envisage future scenarios, starting from one of the values of the local territory that need to be conveyed. The workshop ends with a show of the design projects. The themes tackled in previous editions are:
