The Innesti collection was inspired by botanical balance, in its ideal alignment of full and empty spaces. lamatilde and Sara Ricciardi designed this series of ikebana vases for Villa Crespi, channeling the frail and hypnotic equilibrium that can only come from pairing extremely different elements, explored and expressed using pure shapes and different weights.

Each vase is made up of two apparently irreconcilable elements: one heavy, solid, rigid; the other light, metallic, with completely soft lines. Their pairing generates balance, but also tension. All metal parts are brass, while four different types of stone were used for the bases: Calacatta gold, Emperador, rosa perlino and ruin marble, in homage to Villa Crespi’s lavish use of marble and palette range.
