Place des Lices
Place des Lices products are born in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital at the heart of Provence.
The brand’s historical collection now makes a comeback with a new look, to celebrate the region’s fine tradition with inspiration from Mediterranean atmospheres and Belle Époque charm, channeling the era that saw the rise of the Côte d’Azur legend with its evocative seaside locations.
Restyling the packaging of the perfume range was also an opportunity to renovate the Place des Lices brand, which
features retro-style typography in honor of the timeless elegance of the Côte d’Azur.
The collection’s visual language is complemented by original illustrations reminiscent of the vintage look and feel of Belle Époque posters. Imagery thus becomes a narrative device, to tell the story of the features and ingredients behind each fragrance in the most evocative way.
“A green-leaved plant known as “patchai ellai”, grows luxuriantly in the Indonesian archipelago and has been attributed magical and beneficial properties for centuries. The essential is invisible to the eyes, but its charm awakens and revives all the other senses”
“A barefoot run through the citrus groves, chasing the sunset over the Mediterranean Sea.
The evening shade caresses the sun-drenched skin, while a lively citrus fragrance of lemon and bergamot emanates from the orchards”
“Spicy notes of pepper and nutmeg enrich the aromas of vetiver, sage and incense, which hover in the air like flamboyant hot-air balloons in the clear sky, painting multicoloured rainbows that recall the corolla of an iris fragrant”
“A multicoloured flock rises majestically in the night sky, playing hide and seek in the clouds and drawing new constellations with the dancing trajectories of their imaginative fluttering“
“Sweet and refined as a perfect candy coating, it evokes swirls of light, sparkling colours, amazing fairground rides and festive merry-go-rounds”
“The avant-garde lifestyle, a symbol of the unconventional sensitivity of the most famous “damned” artists, who met in Place des Lices during their stays on the Côte d’Azur, sipping the infamous absinthe together”
“It envelops and caresses velvety skin with a lovely, melodious scent like a luxurious silk fabric, enhancing the femininity of whoever wears this fragrance, as a precious dress finely embroidered with arabesques and golden swirls”

“The awakening of spring is announced in the air like an imperceptible rain that sprinkles the atmosphere, delicately touching the flowers that blossom with desire and colour the landscape like corals”
“The gentle breeze lightly caresses the corollas, leafing through the freesias and orange blossoms, kissing them gracefully, petal by petal”
