Truffle Bistrot Lussemburgo
Interior
Concept
Three types of business fall under the San Maurizio 1619 umbrella brand: hôtellerie, skincare products and the Truffle Bistrot chain. While they may seem unrelated, they actually all foster the memory and knowledge of Piedmontese tradition, by voicing its culture for food and wellness. Therefore, our challenge was to find a communication code that could be univocal and flexible, able to adapt to three different contexts, remaining coherent and distinctive at the same time.
Interior
Development
Starting from the interiors designed for Sensi Store, we defined a canon for all Truffle Bistrot spaces. With San Maurizio 1619, Langhe’s traditional materials and aromas were introduced in Luxemburg for the first time, complementing the flavors of Piedmontese culinary tradition – starting from the Alba white truffle that the entire chain is named after. The goal of the project was to create an authentic look and feel for a space that is never aseptic or artificial; the interiors are made even more precious by Nicola Olivieri’s illustrations, featured in a wide range of variations from walls to upholstery.
